About Avlaki
- Is Avlaki a sandy beach?
- No, Avlaki is a pebble beach, so water shoes are handy. Facilities: snorkelling and unspoiled nature.
- Is it easy to park at Avlaki?
- Roadside parking. Spaces are limited and fill up early in summer, so arrive before 10:00 or come by scooter or bus. It's a 20 minute walk from the road, and the last stretch is a dirt track.
- When is Avlaki least crowded?
- It's rarely crowded, even in August. Outside June–September it's quiet all day.
- Which wind is best for swimming at Avlaki?
- The beach faces west, so it's calmest when the wind blows from the east and gets waves when it blows from the west.
