About Kanoni

Is Kanoni a sandy beach?
Kanoni has a mix of sand and pebbles. Facilities: family friendly.
Is it easy to park at Kanoni?
Roadside parking. Spaces are limited and fill up early in summer, so arrive before 10:00 or come by scooter or bus. It's a 8 minute walk from the road.
When is Kanoni least crowded?
It gets busy around midday in July and August; mornings and late afternoons are calmer. Outside June–September it's quiet all day.
Which wind is best for swimming at Kanoni?
The beach faces east, so it's calmest when the wind blows from the west and gets waves when it blows from the east. It stays sheltered when the summer maistros (northwesterly) blows, which makes it a good choice on windy afternoons.
