Stelari beach guide
Stelari is the largest of the cliff-backed coves on the west coast south of Liapades: a narrow shore of pebbles and a little sand under high white rocks, with bright turquoise water and a deep seabed that's very good for snorkelling.
It can only be reached by sea, by hired boat, water taxi or a boat trip from Liapades or Paleokastritsa. There may be a few sunbeds, but there's almost no shade and no food or drink, so bring water, snacks and your own shade.

About Stelari
- Is Stelari a sandy beach?
- Stelari has a mix of sand and pebbles. Facilities: unspoiled nature and snorkelling.
- Is it easy to park at Stelari?
- There's no road to the beach, so there's no parking there: you arrive by boat. Park near the harbour or beach your boat leaves from.
- When is Stelari least crowded?
- It's rarely crowded, even in August. Outside June–September it's quiet all day.
- Which wind is best for swimming at Stelari?
- The beach faces southwest, so it's calmest when the wind blows from the northeast and gets waves when it blows from the southwest.
