Almost 3 km of sand on Lefkimmi Bay with calm, shallow, very clear water. A locals' beach: sunbeds by the hotel, empty stretches everywhere else.
- Kaliviotis
Quiet sandy beach at the western end of Lefkimmi Bay, next to Molos, with gentle shallow water and hardly anyone around outside August weekends.
- Gardenos
Long, uncrowded sandy beach where the Gardenos stream meets the sea near Vitalades, backed by dunes and fields. One of the south's best-kept secrets.
- Alikes (Lefkimmi)
Probably the shallowest beach around Lefkimmi: fine sand and knee-deep water for 100 m, ideal for small children. A beach bar nearby, no charge for a spot.
- Skaloma
Wild sandy beach north of Kavos: just fine sand, rocks and sea, and usually hardly anyone. No bar, so bring what you need.
- Megas Choros
Long, lonely sandy beach on the southwest coast at the end of a steep, narrow track; it's a long walk unless you have an off-road buggy. Nothing to buy, and some August days you'll have it to yourself.
- Asprokavos
Quieter southern end of the Kavos coast towards Cape Asprokavos and its white cliffs, with a few sunbeds and watersports. Take care when the sea is rough.
