Levrechio beach guide

Levrechio is a small beach of white pebbles just south of Loggos, the smallest of Paxos' three harbour villages, and about a five-minute walk from it. The water is clear and gets deep quickly, which suits people who like a proper swim.

There's a taverna on the beach for coffee and food. Marmari and Kipos, two quieter coves, are a little further south along the coast.

About Levrechio

Is Levrechio a sandy beach?
No, Levrechio is a pebble beach, so water shoes are handy. Facilities: taverna.
Is it easy to park at Levrechio?
Roadside parking. Spaces are limited and fill up early in summer, so arrive before 10:00 or come by scooter or bus. It's a 5 minute walk from the road.
When is Levrechio least crowded?
It gets busy around midday in July and August; mornings and late afternoons are calmer. Outside June–September it's quiet all day.
Which wind is best for swimming at Levrechio?
The beach faces east, so it's calmest when the wind blows from the west and gets waves when it blows from the east. It stays sheltered when the summer maistros (northwesterly) blows, which makes it a good choice on windy afternoons.
