Almyros beach guide

Almyros is a long, wide beach on the north coast, east of Acharavi and towards the protected Antinioti lagoon. The shore is coarse sand with scattered pebbles, and the water is shallow, though you may meet some larger rocks underfoot.

It's only partly organised: there are some sunbeds and parasols and a couple of beach bars, but plenty of room to set up on your own. The stretch in front of the Grecotel Costa Botanica resort was awarded a Blue Flag in 2026.
