Roda beach guide

Roda is a resort on the north coast, about 38 km from Corfu Town. Its main beach is about 3 km of golden sand with clear, shallow, gently shelving water, which makes it popular with families with young children.

There are sunbeds and umbrellas, often free for customers of the beachside cafés, and tavernas, bars and shops along the seafront. The beach runs straight on east into Acharavi, so you can walk along the shore between the two. Buses run from Corfu Town.

In the middle of the village, near the coast, are the remains of an ancient temple uncovered by excavation; the finds are in the Archaeological Museum of Corfu.

Free parking. There's usually space, even in high season. You can drive right up to the beach.

Which wind is best for swimming at Roda?
