Bataria (Kassiopi) beach guide

Bataria is a small cove of white pebbles on the headland at Kassiopi, on Corfu's northeast coast, with very clear turquoise water and a seabed that drops off quickly, which is great for snorkelling. Across the strait you can see the mountains of Albania.

It's about a 10-minute walk from Kassiopi harbour along a shaded coastal path, roughly 600 m. There are a handful of sunbeds and umbrellas, plus toilets and changing rooms, and bars and restaurants close by in Kassiopi. The surrounding rocks give some shade.

Kassiopi is about 36 km from Corfu Town; the simplest way to reach the cove is on foot from the harbour.
