About Arvanitiko
- Is Arvanitiko a sandy beach?
- No, Arvanitiko is a pebble beach, so water shoes are handy. Facilities: snorkelling and unspoiled nature.
- Is it easy to park at Arvanitiko?
- No parking. Spaces are limited and fill up early in summer, so arrive before 10:00 or come by scooter or bus. It's a 15 minute walk from the road.
- When is Arvanitiko least crowded?
- It's rarely crowded, even in August. Outside June–September it's quiet all day.
- Which wind is best for swimming at Arvanitiko?
- The beach faces southeast, so it's calmest when the wind blows from the northwest and gets waves when it blows from the southeast. It stays sheltered when the summer maistros (northwesterly) blows, which makes it a good choice on windy afternoons.
