About Fyki
- Is Fyki a sandy beach?
- No, Fyki is a pebble beach, so water shoes are handy. Facilities: snorkelling and unspoiled nature.
- Is it easy to park at Fyki?
- No parking. Spaces are limited and fill up early in summer, so arrive before 10:00 or come by scooter or bus. It's a 15 minute walk from the road.
- When is Fyki least crowded?
- It's rarely crowded, even in August. Outside June–September it's quiet all day.
- Which wind is best for swimming at Fyki?
- The beach faces west, so it's calmest when the wind blows from the east and gets waves when it blows from the west. The summer maistros, a northwesterly that picks up in the afternoon, often makes it choppy, so mornings are best.
