Antipsos (Ermones) Beach

Small sand-and-pebble cove tucked into the cliffs just north of Ermones, on the way to Gyali. It faces south, so it's calmer and a little warmer than its neighbours. Boat access only – the cliff paths above are dangerous.

How to get there

About Antipsos (Ermones)

Is Antipsos (Ermones) a sandy beach?
Antipsos (Ermones) has a mix of sand and pebbles. Facilities: unspoiled nature and snorkelling.
Is it easy to park at Antipsos (Ermones)?
There's no road to the beach, so there's no parking there: you arrive by boat. Park near the harbour or beach your boat leaves from.
When is Antipsos (Ermones) least crowded?
It's rarely crowded, even in August. Outside June–September it's quiet all day.
Which wind is best for swimming at Antipsos (Ermones)?
The beach faces south, so it's calmest when the wind blows from the north and gets waves when it blows from the south. It stays sheltered when the summer maistros (northwesterly) blows, which makes it a good choice on windy afternoons.
