Sidari beach guide
Sidari is one of the north coast's busiest resorts, with a wide sandy beach on its eastern side. The water is warm and shallow, which makes it popular with families.
The beach is lined with cafés and beach bars that rent sunbeds, and there's a full range of watersports: pedalos, paddleboards, kayaks, jet skis, inflatables and parasailing. At the western end of the village, about 10 minutes' walk from the bus station, are the sandstone coves of Canal d'Amour.
Sidari is about an hour's drive from Corfu Town, and buses run there daily from the KTEL bus station.

About Sidari
- Is Sidari a sandy beach?
- Yes, Sidari is a sandy beach. Facilities: sunbeds, taverna, watersports, and family friendly.
- Is it easy to park at Sidari?
- Paid parking. Spaces fill up around midday in July and August. You can drive right up to the beach.
- When is Sidari least crowded?
- It's one of Corfu's most popular beaches: in July and August it's busiest from 12:00 to 16:00, so arrive before 10:00 or after 17:00. Outside June–September it's quiet all day.
- Which wind is best for swimming at Sidari?
- The beach faces north, so it's calmest when the wind blows from the south and gets waves when it blows from the north. The summer maistros, a northwesterly that picks up in the afternoon, often makes it choppy, so mornings are best.
