Loggas (Peroulades) beach guide
Loggas, also known as Sunset Beach, is a very narrow strip of sand below high, sheer cliffs at Peroulades, on Corfu's northwest tip. It's one of the island's favourite places to watch the sun set into the sea behind the Diapontia islands.
The only way down is a steep path from the cliffs. There are a few sunbeds and umbrellas, and the village of Peroulades sits right above, with a bar on the cliff top that's an alternative place to watch the sunset when the beach is full. The beach gets crowded in the evening, so arrive early. Take care on the way down: the old path collapsed and has been patched with uneven wooden steps, and rocks fall from the cliff, so don't sit right under it.
