Agios Arsenios beach guide
Agios Arsenios is a tiny pebble cove below a small, isolated chapel on the northeast coast near Kalami, and it can only be reached by sea.
Beside it is a sea cave whose water glows emerald, and the water around it is deep and very clear. Boat trips along the northeast coast stop here for a swim, and small boats can be hired in Kalami. There's nothing on shore, so bring water.

About Agios Arsenios
- Is Agios Arsenios a sandy beach?
- No, Agios Arsenios is a pebble beach, so water shoes are handy. Facilities: unspoiled nature and snorkelling.
- Is it easy to park at Agios Arsenios?
- There's no road to the beach, so there's no parking there: you arrive by boat. Park near the harbour or beach your boat leaves from.
- When is Agios Arsenios least crowded?
- It's rarely crowded, even in August. Outside June–September it's quiet all day.
- Which wind is best for swimming at Agios Arsenios?
- The beach faces east, so it's calmest when the wind blows from the west and gets waves when it blows from the east. It stays sheltered when the summer maistros (northwesterly) blows, which makes it a good choice on windy afternoons.
