Ampelaki (Paleokastritsa) beach guide

Ampelaki is the westernmost of Paleokastritsa's coves, about 1 km from the village centre: a small bay of sand and pebbles framed by rocky cliffs, with clear turquoise water.

The seabed drops off quickly, which makes it popular for snorkelling and diving. There are sunbeds and umbrellas, showers, a beach bar and a small jetty with boat hire. It's quieter than the main beaches, but still fills up in high season, so come early.

Paid parking. Spaces are limited and fill up early in summer, so arrive before 10:00 or come by scooter or bus. It's a 5 minute walk from the road.
