Corfu Party Beaches: 9 Beaches for Beach Clubs, DJs and Nightlife
Corfu has a quiet reputation, all olive groves and Durrell, but it parties too. The scene is just spread out. There's one full-on party resort at the southern tip, a couple of proper beach clubs with international DJs, and a handful of resorts where the beach bars turn the music up after sunset.
We've picked nine beaches with something going on, from foam parties to a cocktail in a sea cave. They're grouped by the kind of night you're after, not ranked. Venues change hands and line-ups change every summer, so we only name places that have been around for years; check their social pages for this season's dates.
Timing matters more than anywhere. The scene runs from June to September and peaks in July and August; by October most clubs have shut. Getting home is the other thing to plan: buses stop in the evening and taxis are scarce after midnight, so book one in advance or stay within walking distance.
1. Kavos
South Corfu · 2.9 Google (271 reviews)

Kavos, at the southern tip of the island, is Corfu's party resort and makes no secret of it. The main strip runs for about 2 km and is wall-to-wall bars and clubs, with foam parties, paint parties and booze cruises through the summer. Future Club is the biggest venue, with room for around 3,000 people and guest DJs every week in high season.
The beach itself is a long stretch of sand with bars and watersports, and in the daytime it's mostly where people recover. The crowd is young, mostly British, and the nights go on until sunrise. If that's not your thing, it's not a place to stay by accident.
Good to know: Kavos is about an hour from Corfu Town and the last green bus back leaves early, so this is a night to sleep in Kavos rather than commute.

West Corfu · 4.4 Google (5,666 reviews)

Glyfada is a long golden beach under pine-covered cliffs on the west coast, and Pazuzu, the beach club on the sand, is the best-known party venue on the island. By day it's sunbeds and lunch; at sunset the DJ takes over and the beach turns into a dance floor, with international names booked through the summer.
Because Glyfada faces west, the sun drops straight into the sea in front of you. Entry to the sunset parties has in recent seasons been around €20 including a drink, with tables and bottle service for those who want them.
Good to know: Reserve a sunbed or table for party nights in July and August. Parking fills early, so come by taxi or the summer green bus and plan the ride home.

West Corfu · 4.6 Google (2,830 reviews)

Kontogialos, the beach below Pelekas, is the laid-back neighbour of Glyfada: a sandy cove between green cliffs with beach bars, sofas on the sand and DJ music through the afternoon.
It's a good place to start the evening before heading to Glyfada, or the place to stay if you want music and a cocktail without the club crowd. Up the hill, the Kaiser's Throne above Pelekas village is one of the best sunset viewpoints on the island.
Good to know: The road down is steep and parking is limited; if you're drinking, share a taxi with friends.

West Corfu · 4.4 Google (1,516 reviews)

Agios Gordios is a wide sandy bay on the southwest coast framed by green hills and rock formations. Its party reputation comes from the Pink Palace, a hostel next to the beach that has been the backpackers' base on Corfu for decades, with booze cruises, beer pong and poolside happy hours.
Outside the hostel the resort is relaxed, with tavernas and beach bars along the sand and great sunsets, so it works for a mixed group where not everyone wants a big night.
Good to know: Reviews of the Pink Palace praise the atmosphere and staff but are mixed on cleanliness, so read recent ones before booking a bed.

East Corfu · 4.1 Google (1,361 reviews)

Dassia, a tree-lined beach just north of Corfu Town, has two beach clubs that have outlasted almost everything else on the island. Edem has been on the sand for more than 30 years: coffee and snacks in the afternoon, chill-out music as the sun goes down, then international DJs from about 11 pm until the early hours.
Further along the same beach, Malibu Summer has been running since 1987, with a big pool, beach volleyball and sunbeds by day. It's the easier-going of the two and fine with friends who just want a drink by the water.
Good to know: Blue bus 7 runs to Dassia from San Rocco Square until late evening, but you'll need a taxi back after a club night.

East Corfu · 4.0 Google (1,249 reviews)

Ipsos is a long pebble beach in a lively resort a little further north, with a strip of bars along the coast road right behind the sand. Drinks are cheaper than at the beach clubs, and several bars have DJs and themed nights in high season, including Tartaya, the tiki bar on the beachfront.
It's a bar-hopping resort rather than a clubbing one: busy, cheerful and easy to walk between venues, with the sea a few steps away.
Good to know: Blue bus 7 links Ipsos with Dassia and Corfu Town, so you can start at one and finish at the other.

North Corfu · 4.0 Google (1,170 reviews)

Sidari, on the north coast, is famous for its sandstone cliffs and the Canal d'Amour, and in the evening its main street fills with bars and a few clubs. The music runs from EDM to rock and pop, and it has a name as the karaoke capital of Corfu.
It's louder than most of the north coast but much gentler than Kavos, and families and groups share the same strip. Start with sunset at the Canal d'Amour cliffs, then walk back into the village.
Good to know: Sidari is about an hour and a quarter from Corfu Town by bus, so it suits people staying in the north.

Corfu Town has no party beach, but it has the island's biggest clubs. Start at Faliraki, the swimming lido below the Old Fortress, which has a bar-restaurant and views across to Vido island, then move on to the cocktail bars under the Liston arcades and in the Old Town lanes.
The big clubs are along the coast road north of town, near the new port. The best known, 54 Dreamy Nights, has a retractable roof and stays open until morning, and most of them get going after midnight.
Good to know: Town nights start late. Dinner at 21:00 or 22:00, bars after that, clubs not before 01:00.
Faliraki (Corfu Town): crowds, parking & wind today →9. Paleokastritsa
West Corfu · 4.4 Google (4,359 reviews)

Paleokastritsa isn't a party resort, but it has one of the most unusual bars on the island. La Grotta sits in a small rocky cove near the main bay, about 140 steps down from the road, with sunbeds on the rocks, a diving board over turquoise water and cocktails at sunset.
People jump from the board and the rocks when the sea is calm, and the crowd is young and sociable. It's a drink-and-a-swim kind of evening, not a late night.
Good to know: Wear proper shoes for the steps, book a sunbed in high season, and don't jump if the sea is rough or after a few drinks.
